Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) had an interesting question for Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) in the March 14 episode. That’s when Konstantin commented on Maggie’s beautiful red mane and wondered if she was of Irish descent.

Maggie admitted she had no idea since her parents passed away when she was quite young, and she never knew any of her other biological relatives growing up on the farm.

After Maggie mentioned that her maiden name was Simmons, she guessed it could be Irish. Konstantin suggested that Welsh or Scottish were other possibilities as they mulled over Maggie’s lineage.

When Maggie said maybe she should get her DNA tested, Konstantin laughed and warned her to be careful.

“You never know who you might end up having as a relative,” Konstantin pointed out in that same DOOL episode.

That seems like the perfect line to set up a long-lost relative for Maggie – especially a problematic one!

If Maggie goes through with this DNA test idea and looks into her ancestry, perhaps it could indeed lead to a shocking discovery.

Days might be paving the way for a new character to join Days down the road, so that’s one option to consider.

However, it’s also possible Maggie currently has a long-lost relative on canvas that she doesn’t know about yet.

Of course, Maggie has already had multiple retcons of children that didn’t go over well with Days fans, but this new potential relative doesn’t necessarily have to be another son or daughter.

It could easily be a cousin, niece, nephew or someone with another biological connection to Maggie instead.

Everett Lynch aka Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) comes to mind since he’s working to uncover the details of his past. Could Everett be related to Maggie in some way?

That would fit with Konstantin’s warning since Everett clearly has a split personality and seems poised to go off the rails in the coming months.

Then again, there might be someone else who turns out to be Maggie’s biological relative depending on what the writers have in store for her.

Regardless, this DNA test conversation seemed significant and could spark additional curiosity for Maggie, so we’ll offer more predictions as other details emerge.
