Recently, on Days of Our Lives, Paulina had a literal touch and go with death. That too, not once but twice – both in the same stretch of her hospital stay. While fans were pretty certain that she would pull through her cancer, they weren’t so sure if she would recover from her heart ailment. And guess what? Jackee Harry feared the same, and worse – getting fired!

In a heart-to-heart with Soap Opera Digest the talented actress chuckled that she feared that she was going to be fired. But felt reassured by the fact that characters often bounce back from terribly grim fates. Thus, she knew she would have a chance to return in the future, even if Paulina did suffer the worst.

Although, Jackee did feel comforted by the fact that the storyline was only written in to drag things through the writer’s strike. She still check in with the Days of Our Lives TBTB to find out, “what the hell is going on?” Thankfully, they assured her that Paulina will have a positive outcome in the end.

Once pacified that Paulina will live, Jackee had more questions about how she would pull through. Moreover, what would be the future of her marriage with Abe? Especially, given his prolonged amnesia on Days of Our Lives.

Jackee Confesses She Thought Paulina Would Cheat

Since the actress could not see Abe’s memory coming back anytime soon, she thought Paulina would end up cheating on her husband. As a result, destroying their marriage and great love. She even joked that a male nurse in the hospital could fit well as her fling.

But in complete honesty, all Jackee wanted was for Paulina and Abe to get their romance back on track on Days of Our Lives. LO and Behold! She finally has gotten her wish. The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers recall that after her Lexie angel visit not only did Paulina miraculously recover, Abe got his memory back too!
