General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) eyes have been opened when it comes to who Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is and what he’s capable of. Once Josslyn found out about Dex almost taking out Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it changed everything.

Many fans have been complaining about this story twist on social media since it just doesn’t seem reasonable.

If the writers wanted to break Dex and Josslyn up, that’s fine. It’s just ridiculous to use this as the reason since Josslyn has grown up around the mob.

Josslyn should absolutely know what a mob enforcer does and be fully aware of the kind of things Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might ask Dex to do.

In fact, there’s evidence that Josslyn is indeed aware! It’s just that the current writing isn’t taking that into consideration.

Back in 2022, Josslyn recorded a video of Dex beating up Felty the paparazzo on Sonny’s orders, so she knew exactly who Dex was from the get-go.

It’d be different if the story was Josslyn thinking Dex had changed and finding out otherwise, but the show is dumbing her down and making it seem like she had no idea Dex was capable of almost eliminating someone.

Nevertheless, this is the breakup reason that GH is going with, so we have to consider why.

It’s possible it’s just a convenient excuse to end the relationship if Dex is perhaps going to be written out after all.

Surprise exits can certainly happen with a writing regime change, so there’s no guarantee Dex still has a future in Port Charles.

However, it’s also possible this is just angst that Josslyn and Dex can eventually overcome.

If the show’s going to take the relationship deeper, maybe this is just something they feel needs to be addressed.

Of course, unplanned pregnancies are a soap staple, so we’d be remiss if we didn’t mull over some potential baby drama for Josslyn.

Birth control isn’t 100-percent effective – not to mention Josslyn may have missed a dose or two while she’s been under so much stress.

Now that Joss has dumped Dex, what if she finds out she’s pregnant by him – especially since they just had one last roll in the hay?

The thought of being tied to Dex permanently could scare Josslyn and leave her worried about what the future holds.
