Days of Our Lives Spoilers: John’s Catharina Mystery in Greece – Flies to Aria on Mission to Clear Name
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) hopes to avenge Catharina (Ellie Patrikios) and finally get some satisfaction after all these years. The loss of Konstantin’s daughter has haunted him for quite some time, but now he feels like he has a chance at justice.
However, things may not be as straightforward as they seem when it comes to what went down in Greece decades ago.
Konstantin was unconscious when “The Pawn” supposedly pulled the trigger on Catharina – and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) didn’t directly witness it either.
Steve was off taking a phone call and simply came back to the horrible outcome, so it’s suspicious that no one actually saw “The Pawn” cause Catharina’s grim fate.
That certainly leaves some wiggle room when it comes to who’s responsible for Catharina’s demise.
If this Days storyline was simply about brainwashed John Black (Drake Hogestyn) taking out an innocent girl, then Steve probably would’ve watched the whole thing unfold.
Instead, something about the story doesn’t sit right – and John may feel that way once he finally gets updates on what Steve’s been hiding.
Whether Steve comes clean or Konstantin tells John the truth for him, John may struggle to believe he was capable of that – even when he was programmed to be someone so dangerous.
Somewhere deep in John’s soul, he may suspect there’s more going on here.
John may become obsessed with clearing his name since down-the-road Days spoilers say he’ll fly to Aria in hopes of doing just that!
DOOL fans know John has been wrestling with his past, so he realizes he must’ve committed some terrible crimes and other transgressions.
As a way to cope with that, John may become determined to prove that although he was a brainwashed menace at the time, he didn’t do this one unforgivable thing.
In other words, John may have taken many lives as “The Pawn,” but Days spoilers suggest maybe someone else was to blame for Catharina’s sad fate.
Will John be able to prove that once he heads to Greece and digs into this mystery?
Who’s truly responsible for taking out Konstantin’s daughter – and will John finally experience total recall?
