The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Thursday, February 29 – Finn Covers Hand in Sheila’s Blood – Ridge Says Miracle, Not Tragedy

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 29, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was sorry for calling Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) an animal in front of John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), but he insisted that’s who Sheila was to him.

However, Finn questioned how Ridge could be so callous when his mother died there tonight.

Ridge said what happened was awful, but he argued it could’ve been worse since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the kids could’ve been hurt.

Ridge and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) defended Steffy, who stood by her claims about it being self-defense.

Since what’s done was done, Ridge suggested they needed to sit down and figure out what was next.

Finn lashed out and once again declared that his mother died. After Finn said he should’ve been there, he talked about how doctors save lives and that they aren’t killers.

Ridge argued that some lunatic broke into Steffy’s house, so she did what she had to prevent a repeat of what happened in the alley.

As Ridge got increasingly agitated, he basically scoffed over Finn thinking this was tragic and called it a miracle instead.

Ridge said Steffy went through something very traumatic, but Finn kept repeating that Steffy killed his mom. Steffy finally requested some alone time with Finn, so Ridge and Thomas headed back to Forrester Creations together.

After Steffy said Finn felt so far away right now, she acknowledged that what happened was horrible.

Steffy insisted they could get through anything together, but Finn seemed uncertain as he scratched the back of his head and looked at the blood on the floor.

At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) offered up more details to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so they all discussed Sheila’s body being found at Steffy’s house.

Carter’s friend on the force said Sheila was killed, so Hope asked if there was a chance that it wasn’t an accident.

No matter what went down, Carter assured Hope and Brooke that there was one fatality and no other injuries.

Carter confirmed that the person killed had been identified as Sheila Carter, so Brooke was relieved that she was finally gone – and Hope had to agree.

That said, Brooke pointed out that Sheila had fooled them by faking her death before. Carter didn’t think they had to worry about that this time, so he provided reassurance.

Once Ridge returned with Thomas, Brooke asked if it was really true. Ridge insisted “the witch is dead,” but he admitted Sheila was still finding ways to cause problems for her family.

Brooke wondered what that meant, so Ridge said Steffy killed Sheila and explained everything with an assist from Thomas.

Hope immediately seemed concerned for Finn and asked if he knew Steffy killed his birth mom.

Back at the cliff house on Thursday’s B&B episode, Steffy could see how upset Finn was, so she rehashed what went down and begged him to tell her that he understood.

Although Finn was obviously grateful that Steffy and the kids were OK, he was having a hard time with the fact that Steffy fatally stabbed his mother.

Steffy said that she needed to protect herself before telling Finn that she was sorry.

Finn seemed skeptical of that remorse before looking at the blood stain and falling to his knees.

Steffy asked what Finn was doing as he reached out and touched the blood, which left his hand covered in it.

“My mom’s blood is on my hand – and yours, Steffy,” Finn said as he held out his bloody palm and left Steffy unsettled.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn and Steffy’s marriage woes are bound to get worse, so stay tuned for updates on the troubling news ahead for their relationship.
