For years, Young & Restless’ Jordan plotted and plotted, waiting for the day that stolen baby Claire would be old enough to get a job working for Nikki and begin terrorizing the Newmans. And for months, the madwoman has made good on her threat to torment the entire family (except somehow Abby and Adam). She didn’t manage to kill them one by one as she swore that she would, but hey, what ever goes exactly according to plan?

Now, the jig isn’t just up, Jordan is going down. The week of March 18, Victor intends to call the authorities to have the villainess taken back into custody. But first, Nikki, Victoria and Claire insist upon standing eye to eye with the psycho. What could possibly go wrong, right? How about, um, everything? Not only does Jordan not cower from her captors, per Soap Opera Digest, she throws them completely off her game. She “cannot resist the urge to take on her rivals,” Amelia Heinle tells the website, “with one trick up her sleeve that no one will see coming.”

If Jordan succeeds in turning the tables on Nikki, Victoria and Claire — to the point that she once again escapes — the embattled family will be back at square one, sleeping with one eye open and wondering if their next bottle of water will be the one that gives them heart attacks. On the flipside, it could be the show’s way of setting us up for the “Who killed Jordan?” murder mystery that would be too tantalizing a possibility for any writer to pass up.
