Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 21, reveals that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) admitted she stopped by Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) place to check on him and got Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to let her in.

Since it didn’t look like Harris had been home since he was released from the hospital, Jada deduced that he’d been staying with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Jada warned Harris about throwing away his career if he stayed with Ava, but he clearly wasn’t bothered by her warning or interested in dumping Ava.

At The Spectator on Thursday’s Days episode, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) contemplated discussing Clyde Weston’s (James Read) escape in his gossip column, but Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) suggested Clyde didn’t deserve the attention.

However, Chad was hoping Leo could cover some real news while Everett Lynch aka Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) was out for personal reasons.

Leo jumped at the chance to write a story about Mayor Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) miraculous recovery and release.

At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) apartment, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) thanked them for being such good hosts and letting him stay there during his memory struggles.

Afterward on Thursday’s DOOL show, Kayla headed to the hospital to discharge Paulina, who was eager to go home with Abe by her side.

As Paulina was being wheeled out, a group of reporters gathered to pester her for answers about her miracle – including Leo, who was particularly relentless.

Paulina only offered some brief updates, but Leo decided he wasn’t going to give up on getting more than a vague statement.

At Paulina’s place, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) helped Steve move Abe’s stuff in and stocked the kitchen before they put up decorations.

Talk turned to Clyde’s escape at one point, so Johnny suggested there was a special place in hell for whoever helped him.

Steve seemed uneasy as he agreed before changing the subject.

By the time Paulina and Abe came home with Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), they were delighted over the balloons and flowers.

Leo crashed the homecoming party and explained the story he was working on, so Paulina allowed it despite her issues with Leo when he worked as her assistant.

Since Paulina approved off Leo’s MLK Day article and his piece on the Horton house, she agreed to an interview.

Leo gushed over how amazing Paulina was and became a real part of the celebration, but Kayla noticed that Steve seemed off.

At The Spectator on Thursday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) showed up with a bottle of booze and wanted to share a drink with Chad, who objected since it was 8:00 a.m. and Stefan seemed drunk already.

After Stefan hinted about his regrets, he made it clear that those regrets included his past with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Stefan apologized since Chad didn’t deserve that – and neither did Abby.

When Stefan assured Chad that he had nothing to do with Clyde’s escape, Chad seemed confused over why he was telling him all this.

Chad was also little weirded out as Stefan admitted he loved his brother. Although Chad clearly thought it was the booze talking, Stefan said it was time to face the music.

Chad remained baffled, but then Stefan got a mischievous twinkle in his eye and suggested he had to plan his chess moves.

Once Chad was alone, he looked at Abigail’s photo and struggled over having Clyde in his head again. Chad fumed over how Clyde should rot in hell for the things he’d done.

Back at the police station on Thursday’s Days episode, Stefan approached Jada and Harris to confess to drug trafficking and money laundering under Clyde’s pressure.

Jada assumed Ava was just as involved, but Stean said he acted alone and that he ordered Ava to keep quiet or face dire consequences when she discovered what was going on.

Now that Stefan was confessing, he suggested Harris and Jada should get EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) on the phone since he was ready to cut a deal.
