Days of Our Lives Recap: Wednesday, April 10 - Xander Plans Stefan Jail Visit - Eric’s New Budget Panics Sloan

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 10, reveals that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) spoke to the landlord over the phone and confirmed that Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) was late on rent last month, too.

Eric assumed Sloan just had a lot on her mind and vowed to sort all this out, but he still seemed troubled over his discovery.

At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, Sloan pushed Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to pay her retainer before they had their next meeting, so Jada used her phone to send the money.

From there, Sloan had bad news since everything she found only bolstered Everett Lynch aka Bobby Stein’s (Blake Berris) case. Things were tricky regarding contracts when mental illness was involved.

At The Spectator on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Everett seemed aloof as Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) tried to quiz him about what was wrong. After Everett made it clear that he was working and didn’t want to talk about it right now, he snapped at Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

Jada eventually came along to ask if Bobby was as stubborn as he was psychotic since no one would care if he signed these divorce papers.

Everett still refused to sign as Bobby, so Jada took a softer approach and tried to convince him this was the answer since neither of them wanted to be married.

When Everett still couldn’t give Jada the signature she wanted, she stormed out.

Leo was fascinated by this whole Jada, Bobby, Everett and Stephanie saga, but he didn’t think Everett should be too hard on himself for not remembering.

Although Leo wanted to use the story for his Lady Whistleblower column, Everett urged him to leave it alone.

Later, Everett decided there may be no escaping Bobby and left Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) a voicemail since he needed her help.

As for Stephanie, she joined Jada and the pub and got the full scoop on the divorce snafu.

Jada apologized for blowing up at Stephanie multiple times since none of this was her fault, so Stephanie forgave her.

Stephanie admitted she was furious with Everett half the time, but she also felt for him.

Jada assumed Stephanie still had feelings for Everett, so Stephanie hinted about everything not being so black and white.

At home, Eric confronted Sloan about the late rent, so she said it must’ve just slipped her mind.

Sloan suggested she’d never been late on rent before, but Eric pointed out she was late last month as well.

After Sloan assured Eric that she’d stay on top of it from now on, he said they should make a family budget.

However, Sloan kept making excuses to avoid talking about it with Eric, who worked on the budget alone and seemed puzzled over a chunk of money that was missing.

After Sloan left under the guise of buying diapers, Eric confirmed their budget indeed wasn’t adding up, so he planned to get to the bottom of this.

In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Sloan met with Leo and buttered him up about what a great writer he was.

Now that Leo was doing well with more assignments at The Spectator, Sloan asked him to cut her a break on the money he was demanding.

Leo was willing to reduce his allowance by 25 percent, so Sloan pulled him into an excited hug and offered her gratitude.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) also ran into Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) while they were out for a stroll with Victoria Horton-Cook, so he delivered updates on Xander officially cleared of all charges.

Xander had burgers and fries with Sarah as they celebrated at their apartment, but Xander hinted this wasn’t over since he still didn’t know who framed him.

Sarah suggested Clyde Weston (James Read) as an option, but Xander didn’t seem convinced.

Sarah brought up how Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) had been working for Clyde, so Xander mulled over the possibility that Stefan hired the hitman or at least knew something.

Although Sarah was concerned about Xander stirring up more problems, she assured him that they were in this together and got on board with his plan to visit Stefan in jail.

At the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) cornered Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in the living room to berate her for making Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) cry.

Nicole ranted about the cruel things Kristen said, but Kristen acted like she just spoke the truth about Holly’s bad influence.

Kristen didn’t want Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) around Nicole’s lying, druggie daughter.

Nicole argued that Rachel was a bratty bad seed and traded insults with Kristen about their long histories of shady behavior.

The difference was that Nicole actually had regrets and wanted to turn her life around.

Nicole ultimately pointed out that Rachel only existed because Kristen duped Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) into sleeping with her using a Nicole mask.

That really set Kristen off, so the fight took a physical turn before EJ walked in and broke it up. EJ argued that if Kristen couldn’t get along with Nicole, then his sister would have to move out.

After the conversation shifted to DiMera Enterprises, EJ hinted about taking over since Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) was traveling the world, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) wasn’t interested and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was too inexperienced.

Kristen acted like she was a good candidate, but EJ laughed out loud at that suggestion.

Later, Kristen got on the phone with Mr. Wei Shin (Clyde Kusatsu) and suggested they needed to have a little talk.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will pull off some shady moves when it comes to DiMera Enterprises, so we’ll bring you predictions on all the drama.
