Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has been working to clear Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (last played by Camila Banus) name as part of her deal with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). If Kristen can get Gabi out of prison, she could take charge of DiMera Enterprises with Stefan’s help.

Kristen hasn’t made much progress yet, but she did point out something interesting.

When Kristen paid a visit to Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), she brought up the fact that two people faced a grim fate in that apartment.

Of course, Days viewers will recall the first person was Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), but Gil Carter’s (David S. Lee) demise came later when he tried to attack Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and paid with his life.

Later, Kristen once again brought up these two fatal outcomes during a conversation with Stefan and acted like there could be a connection.

Since Kristen is focusing on this, DOOL fans need to focus on it, too.

Could Gil be the person who wiped Li off the map?

It’s a possibility to consider, especially since Days spoilers say Ava and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will discover something shocking in Gil’s black book.

There could be some evidence in that black book that points to old crimes or at least offers a clue about what really happened to Li.

What if Li secretly racked up a bunch of gambling debt and owed Gil a ton of money?

If Li couldn’t pay up, that might’ve given Gil a motive to come take him out before Gabi ever arrived.

Then again, maybe Li was getting blackmailed another way and was doing jobs for Clyde to keep Wendy safe or something along those lines.

If Li tried to pull something shady or go against Clyde’s orders, Gil may have eliminated him over it.

Although Li identified Gabi as the person responsible, that’s probably just because he wanted revenge on her more than anyone else.

Even if Gil didn’t have a hand in Li’s grisly outcome, the proof in this black book could give Kristen and Stefan a new angle to work.

Kristen could always try to manufacture more evidence and pin the crime on Gil if need be.

Whatever the case, Harris and Ava’s new discovery will pull Stefan into Clyde’s takedown plot and could set the stage for Gabi’s prison release down the road.
