There’s just a couple short days until Jason is back in Port Charles, and we’re pretty sure General Hospital has been laying the groundwork and building to this moment for ages. But is Jason really “Stone,” the man back from the grave who’s hunted down Olivia Jerome, gone after Selina Wu and is literally gunning for Sonny?

All signs are definitely pointing towards him, but we can’t help but think there’s got to be more to this story than we know! (Like maybe a second return with Jason?) Now, though, we’re close enough to his appearance on Monday that we’ve finally gotten our first look at Jason’s return, courtesy of People, which you can check out here! But is it enough to give us any clues as to what’s really going on?

The answer is… Maybe!

Is Jason the one who wants them gone?

First off, he’s dressed all in black, which doesn’t really tell us anything, because this is Jason we’re talking about. Still, instead of a t-shirt, he’s got long sleeves. Sure, it’s still technically winter, but that plus the glove is giving serious covert operation vibes. (Brainwashed by John to be the perfect agent, perhaps?)

And while Jason does not look happy, that stone cold expression on his face is kind of par for the course for him. Then again, if that blood on his side and his hand is his, that’s probably not helping his mood. But with that blood and the fact that it looks like he’s hiding behind a dumpster, we have a feeling that while Jason may be back on Monday, he’s going to be laying low for a little while.

That’s especially true if he’s been going after Port Charles’ mob scene. He’s not exactly going to just waltz back into town and announce his presence… though that would be a pretty darn good cover! But also, if Jason’s mind isn’t his own, he may not even remember anyone in town enough to want to see them.

OK, but when is he getting the leather jacket back?

Ultimately, we’re just going to have to wait and see and realize that even when he does show up on Monday, we’ll probably still have to wait awhile to get all the answers we want!
