General Hospital Spoilers: Jake Busted Over Danny’s Mistake – Pocket Discovery Gives Liz Wrong Idea?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jake Webber (Hudson West) may pay the price for trying to do the right thing. When Jake caught Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) with a vape pen on the March 2 episode, he insisted Danny shouldn’t be doing that sort of thing and refused to give it back.
Although Jake said he wouldn’t snitch, Danny still demanded his pen and launched a physical confrontation over it.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was suspicious when she found the pair fighting, but Jake and Danny quickly downplayed it.
Of course, we couldn’t help but notice that Jake put that pen in his back pocket before he rejoined the party.
In fact, the show offered a close-up shot to focus on that action – seemingly to set the stage for a shocking discovery.
Now it’s just a matter of who’s going to find the vape pen and get the wrong idea!
The most logical choice is Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) since she’s Jake’s mom and will probably want to throw those pants in the next load of laundry.
It’s easy to imagine Liz stumbling across that vape pen and immediately growing concerned. Elizabeth may assume Jake is the one who’s vaping and confront him about the bad habit.
That could leave Jake with a choice to make since he told Danny he wouldn’t narc on him.
Jake might take the blame, especially since Danny has been in enough trouble lately for sneaking out and drinking.
Then again, Jake might decide he can’t lie to his mom since GH writers have established a pretty solid, trustworthy relationship between them.
Maybe Jake will spill the story of how he took the vape pen from Danny and tried to talk some sense into him.
A third option might be if Jake initially lies that the pen belongs to him – only for Liz to call him out on his deception.
Elizabeth knows her boys awfully well, so she may see right through Jake’s bogus claims and force the truth out of him.
Whatever the case, fans have been praising the show for finally delivering some brother scenes between Jake and Danny.
The timing couldn’t be better since Danny and Jake’s father is about to show up alive in Port Charles!
Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return will affect both Danny and Jake moving forward, so it’s smart to put them in a storyline together and set up some conflict.
Assuming Elizabeth indeed makes this surprising pocket discovery, she may have to go against Jake’s wishes and rat Danny out to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) – at least if she finds out the truth about Danny vaping.
