General Hospital Prediction: Jason & Sam WILL Reunite – Why Danny Angst Is Actually a Good Thing

General Hospital (GH) spoilers point to a prediction about Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who could be on track to get back together despite how things look at first glance.

Sam finally came face to face with Jason again after two and a half years of thinking he was gone forever. Of course, it wasn’t exactly a warm and fuzzy reunion under the circumstances!

Although Sam believed Jason when he confirmed he didn’t wound Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), it didn’t take long for tension to erupt.

Sam was furious with Jason for dragging Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) into criminal activities since Danny brought him a first aid kit and kept quiet about his boathouse hideout.

To make matters worse, Jason warned Danny not to tell Sam about any of it.

Sam was understandably livid, so she unleashed her rage in the March 27 episode and warned Jason to stay away from their son.

However, we’d argue that all this Danny angst is actually a good thing if you’re hoping Jason and Sam will reunite.

Some “JaSam” fans immediately started freaking out on social media, but those scenes seemed like the perfect way to kick off Sam and Jason’s messy romantic reunion story if you ask us!

Sam is being protective of Danny since she’s done most of parenting while Jason’s been gone over the years.

Jason symbolizes danger for Sam, so she wants to keep him at a distance from Danny.

Naturally, Danny is never going to stay away from the dad that he loves now that he finally has him back.

Sam will have to cave on that sooner or later, so Danny can help keep Sam and Jason’s connection alive.

Danny is still a kid, so he’s going to need both of his parents.

Sam doesn’t think Jason is capable of protecting Danny like he should, but maybe he’ll prove her wrong down the road.

There might be a scenario where Danny goes wild with some stunt and Jason comes to his rescue.

Viewers also don’t know the full story when it comes to John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) leverage.

Could there be more than just the RICO violations and criminal conspiracy evidence?

It seems like Jason could be protecting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or perhaps Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) from prison, but there’s always room for a twist or two.

It’d be interesting if Jason is protecting Sam somehow as well and making sure Danny’s mom stays in his life.

Whatever the case, there’s no need to panic just because Sam didn’t immediately swoon over Jason and start pining.

That wouldn’t be realistic considering the current situation, so there’s nothing to worry about here.

If anything, Sam’s angry passion is an excellent sign.

It proves there are some deep feelings under the surface, so those could bring some messy complications for Sam as she falls for Jason despite here best efforts not to.

GH writers are no doubt going to play the long game here, but Sam and Jason’s romantic outcome still seems to be the plan.

Working through all this angst and addressing the real issues of this pairing will be a great way to build a solid “JaSam” foundation this time around.

Bottom line, Sam and Jason won’t get back together overnight, but our predictions suggest they’ve already started down the long road to being a reunited couple.

Although Sam loves Dante right now, she’ll inevitably find her way back to Jason eventually.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason and Sam have a lot of work to do when it comes to overcoming their obstacles, so stay tuned for updates on the difficult news ahead.
