General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, May 1 – Kristina’s ‘My Baby’ Hint Spells Trouble – Aiden’s Secret Worries Liz

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 1, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) summoned Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to his office since they were officially moving forward with the fitness and wellness division.

As Drew insisted there was nobody he trusted more to put in charge, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) overheard and agreed.

However, Nina pointed out that Curtis needed to be sure of the terms before getting in bed with Drew.

After Curtis left, Nina quizzed Drew about Curtis’ new job offer and about Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) reason for being in his office earlier.

Drew offered updates on the nonprofit spokesperson gig and explained why it was a good thing for Willow.

Nina admitted she rescheduled her appointment with the congressman and offered to let Drew tag along since he previously requested it.

Drew wondered why Nina was being so accommodating, so that led to them acknowledging their quid pro quo since he was helping her with Willow.

Curtis eventually met up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to discuss Drew’s offer, which left her worried about Curtis taking on too much.

Nevertheless, Portia could see that Curtis was excited and didn’t stand in his way, so he called Drew back to accept the job.

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) noticed Aiden Webber (Enzo de Angelis) had paint on his backpack and recalled how some had been in his hair recently, too.

Aiden acted like they were just art class mishaps, but Liz was suspicious and took Portia’s advice to make an appointment with his school counselor.

Since Aiden had been targeted at school in the past, Liz wanted to get more news on the situation.

At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) recruited Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to help her convince Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) that she was a disastrous spokesmodel who couldn’t get sales and needed to be replaced.

Although Lucy didn’t think there was anyone else left to do the job, Maxie hinted that there was one other person.

At TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) place, TJ pushed Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) too far by acting like she needed to keep her distance from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Kristina refused to stay away from her own family and walked out on their breakfast, so Molly scolded TJ for trying to police Kristina’s every move.

TJ didn’t mind being a control freak if it kept their baby safe.

Molly was upset when TJ implied that they’d never be rid of Kristina – unlike if they’d used a stranger as their surrogate.

TJ acknowledged that the gift Kristina was giving them came at a cost since she was biologically and emotionally invested in this child.

Molly was choosing to stay hopeful about it all working out since Kristina had grown so much as a person.

TJ guessed they’d see and felt they had no choice but to find out at this point.

That said, TJ didn’t want to fight with Molly and kissed her before she left for work. Both TJ and Molly looked unsettled as she headed out.

Next, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) showed up at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office to meet her and discuss some of the complications related to their daughters’ relationship.

Natalia feared the public perception of Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) being photographed with pregnant Kristina since people would assume the baby was theirs.

Alexis didn’t think either of their girls were shrinking violets and seemed offended when Natalia suggested the fallout would be different for Kristina, who was just a bartender and not a huge star like Blaze.

Alexis finally ended the conversation and got rid of Natalia before venting to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in a voicemail.

When Kristina showed up later on the verge of tears, she ranted about what happened at TJ and Molly’s place.

Kristina refused to abandon Sonny when he was pushing everyone away except for Ava Jerome (Maura West), so Alexis agreed to talk to Molly and TJ for her.

After Kristina felt a kick, she mentioned “my baby” and left Alexis looking uneasy.

Alexis recalled how Kristina was active in the womb as well, so Kristina suggested maybe the baby took after her.

General Hospital spoilers say Kristina’s growing attachment to this little one could be a problem, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the drama that’s brewing.
