Little People’s Zach Roloff drops ‘hint’ of totally different career, fans suspect after he quits show
TLC’S Zach Roloff has potentially dropped a hint about a new career path after quitting his family’s TLC series.
The Little People, Big World star discussed future options while talking to his wife Tori Roloff, 32, on their Raising Heights podcast.
The episode saw Tori and Zach discussing assumptions fans have made about them, delving into one that brought up the idea of Zach, 33, being “lazy.”
“It’s never too late to start up a new passion or find a new career path,” Tori said to her husband.
“I think that’s where you’re at, like you just haven’t figured that out yet,” she added.
While Zach agreed that it is “never too late,” he added that there are consequences and sacrifices to starting something new.
He also noted the importance of their three kids – Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah – and how there’s “a certain train that still has to roll.”
Zach went on to say that many fans have told him he could’ve been a professional soccer coach, however, the idea of having to move locations for the job would be a high possibility.
While Zach showed a bit of hesitation about the career switch to be an MLS coach, his wife left the option open.
“I feel like every season is different, like at this time, no, but maybe in the future,” she said.
“It’s never too late for something like that.”
DISCUSSING OPTIONS
On Reddit, fans have been discussing a possible career path for Zach that relates to sports.
“It’s likely that Zach and Tori will be taking the kids to their first DAAA event/getaway soon. Zach was heavily involved as a player in his youth,” one person posted.
“Now, as an adult, he has notoriety and can be a face for DAAA. I can foresee him getting involved on a media level or promotional level for fundraising, as well as coaching.”
As listed on the nonprofit’s website, Zach is currently the vice president of The Dwarf Athletic Association of America (DAAA).
“He’s vp of the DAAA board, so he may be a lot more involved than we know (esp since the show has never mentioned that),” someone else noted.
LEAVING LPBW
Zach’s update comes shortly after he and Tori confirmed they will no longer appear on Little People, Big World after the current season.
Rumors previously circulated that the couple quit the long-running series after feuding with Roloff patriarch Matt, 62, over the family farm.
On Thursday, the couple finally confirmed on their podcast that they aren’t returning for Season 26.
During the episode, the pair explained their reason for quitting nearly two decades after the show’s premiere when Zach was a teenager.
“Let’s just talk about the elephant in the room. Are we coming back to Little People, Big World?” Tori prefaced.
“We are not. We made that pretty clear the last cycle,” Zach revealed.
“But I don’t think it’s been officially announced to people like we are not coming back to Little People, Big World. We are done. That part in our lives, that chapter has closed,” Tori added about the decision.
Zach noted that it should be no surprise to fans that they’re leaving the TLC series after the events that played out in recent seasons.
The father of three also revealed that they hadn’t officially been asked to return.
