It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally, truly here! The Young and the Restless‘ Christel Khalil is bringing Lily back! And not a moment too soon. Though maybe a bit too late… But more on that later!

More: Who will be Jordan’s next victim?

Khalil, of course, has been on maternity leave for the birth of her second child. She shared the news that she was pregnant back in June. Lily, though, was not, which led to a few months of a fun game of Hide the Baby Bump in Genoa City! Then, she and fiancé Sam Restagno revealed the baby’s gender in November of last year, as she shared they were “Getting closer to meeting our baby boy.”

And then, a little less than a month later, Khalil left for maternity leave and Lily left for California to be with daughter Mattie. Fast forward to today and Young & Restless released its preview for next week, revealing that Lily will finally be back onscreen on the week of March 11. Yes, that’s right, she’s back! Lily may not be as happy as Khalil or the rest of us are for her return, though…

You see, things have changed a lot in Genoa City since she rushed off to California back in December. And chief among them is how close her beau Daniel has gotten with Heather! And by close, we mean he cheated on Lily and is in love with Heather again. So that’s not something Lily’s going to love returning to.

But is she going to fight to keep Daniel or just kick him to the curb, wipe her hands and walk away? Time will tell, but it may come down to whether Daniel actually fesses up to what he’s done or if someone else goes running to Lily to spill all about his cheating ways. Either way, we’re sure Lily’s return is going to be explosive!
