The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that it’s been great to see Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) back in the mix. Christel Khalil was certainly missed during her maternity leave, especially since fans were eager to see Lily’s reaction to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) cheating on her with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).

Unfortunately, that reaction has proved rather disappointing so far.

We get that Lily’s trying to remain mature about all this, but Y&R is still a soap – and soaps should always bring major drama!

Lily was hurt and angry over Daniel’s betrayal, but he didn’t face enough backlash.

The same goes for Heather since she’s been after Daniel ever since she returned to town.

Heather wouldn’t even want Daniel if it weren’t for the support Lily gave him to turn his life around.

Lily was there for Daniel when he really needed someone, but he hopped back in bed with his ex while Lily was off trying to handle a family crisis.

Now Daniel and Heather seem like selfish snobs – just smugly ready to embrace their chance to go public and live happily ever after.

It’s like Lily was just a little insignificant bug to smash on their road to bliss!

Lily feels like a fool since Daniel admitted he never stopped loving Heather.

The fact that Daniel snuck around emotionally cheating with Heather after their hookup was another tough blow.

Lily has been thinking back to all those phone conversations and video chats when Daniel pretended everything was fine – all while secretly waiting for the perfect chance to dump Lily for a Heather reunion.

Fortunately, there’s still a chance for Y&R to salvage Lily’s vengeful part of the story.

Based on our latest predictions, Lily may use Chancellor-Winters as a tool to help with that.

Daniel told Heather that things would be interesting at work now since they’re both employed at Chancellor-Winters.

Even so, Daniel feels confident they can handle this like adults and keep things civil.

Of course, Saint Daniel also suggested they could refrain from flaunting their relationship at the office – like that’s supposed to be some sort of magnanimous gesture. What a guy!

That’s the bare minimum Daniel and Heather can do, but it’s not enough – and Lily could prove it if she goes on a bit of a firing spree.

Lily needs to cut Heather from Chancellor-Winters’ legal department and find a way to cut Daniel’s gaming platform, too.

If Chancellor-Winters does end up quietly unmerging like Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) suggested, then Lily could call it “restructuring” and give both cheaters the boot.

Bottom line, there must be some legal loopholes for Lily to exploit and get rid of Daniel along with Heather despite their contracts.

Lily shouldn’t have to put up with a reminder of their betrayal in the workplace, so let’s hope she fires Daniel and Heather soon.
