The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been trying to be a good father to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but what if he’s got another child out there that he doesn’t know about?

In Y&R’s March 19 episode, Adam told Connor that 21 was his favorite number, so Connor assumed it was because of Vegas.

That confused Adam, so Connor said his dad used to live there and liked gambling.

It was something Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) overheard Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) talking about, so he gave Connor updates on the news.

Of course, we have to ask why this dialogue was included. What’s the purpose of bringing up Adam’s old life in Vegas after all this time?

It’s possible it’ll just be a way to fuel the conflict between Adam and Billy again.

Adam may think it’s rather ridiculous for Connor to associate him with gambling when Billy is the one who’s battled a gambling addiction.

It could lead to Adam confronting Billy and warning him to watch his mouth around Johnny, who apparently spills whatever he hears his parents whispering behind closed doors.

However, there could be a bigger reason for this Vegas mention. What if something from Adam’s history there is about to come back to haunt him?

It’s possible Adam has some old crimes that he still needs to pay for – or maybe some enemies will finally track him down in Genoa City.

There’s even a chance Adam fathered a child while he was living as “Spider,” which means he could have a young son or daughter he’s never met.

Victoria was recently reunited with her long-lost daughter, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), but Adam hasn’t been very willing to accept her into the family.

If Adam has a long-lost child of his own, it could perhaps make him more understanding about the desire to bond and make things right. It could help Adam and Victoria connect a bit better than they have before.

Naturally, it’d be little different since Adam would be welcoming an innocent kid into his life – not an adult like Claire who tried to harm various Newmans under Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) control.

Even so, the idea of Adam having another son or daughter is interesting.

It could leave Adam torn between wanting to embrace this child and worrying about how the family addition would affect Connor.

There’s also the matter of Adam forever being worried about his genes – not to mention this could turn his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) upside down.

Bottom line, not much is known about Adam’s past in Vegas, so the door’s wide open for him to have a kid he isn’t aware of yet.

Now that Vegas is coming up again, maybe fans will meet another Newman down the road.
