The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 4, reveal that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) won’t get the enthusiastic response he’s hoping for following his marriage proposal to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) – at least not right away.

Instead, Audra will respond with skepticism about whether Tucker truly wants to tie the knot.

Since Audra will worry that Tucker isn’t proposing for the right reasons, she’ll grill him about his motives and try to wrap her head around all this.

Tucker will insist he’s popping the question because he loves Audra and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

However, Audra may fear this is still about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and suggest Tucker is putting on some kind of show to prove he’s over her.

That’s not a good enough reason to enter a marriage with someone, so Audra will definitely express some doubts about this potential union on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

Nevertheless, Tucker will stand by his desire to marry Audra and kick off a new chapter together, so stay tuned for updates on whether she’ll say yes and put that ring on her finger.

Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will make a pitch for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to stay at Chancellor-Winters in some capacity, but she’ll also think Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) needs to dial down the tension or this is never going to work.

Of course, Lily could eventually regret pushing for Billy to stay if he ends up trying to steal her job!

It’s clear that Billy is power hungry and that he’s become critical of some of Lily’s decisions lately, so our predictions point to more corporate drama.

Across town, it seems Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will fall off the wagon once again.

Nikki will be an emotional wreck after rejecting that drink from the person she believes is Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) accomplice.

Y&R fans know Jordan is actually stirring up trouble around Genoa City in a male disguise, but Nikki will work herself into a tizzy over Jordan potentially expanding her threat with team players.

Since Nikki will surrender to temptation, it sounds like she’ll sneak a drink behind Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) back and may have to call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the aftermath.
