The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will find it increasingly hard to deal with Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s (Susan Walters) co-CEO position at Jabot.

That’s the job Kyle wanted, but he suggested Diane instead and is now realizing just how hard it is to work for his mother – especially when he feels he could do the job better.

As a result, Kyle has been taking the initiative on things a little too much.

We’ve seen Kyle go behind Diane’s back to deal with decisions under the guise of being helpful, but it’s really about his sense of control.

Of course, part of Kyle may be hoping that if he steps up enough, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will see that he made a mistake and give him the co-CEO seat after all.

During the week of March 25-29, Y&R spoilers say Kyle will once again step out of bounds – and Diane will clearly decide she’s done letting him walk all over her.

Diane will remind Kyle that she’s his superior and make it clear that he’s the one who has to report back to her.

Kyle will fume over Diane showing her authority, so this could really push him over the edge.

Since we know Kyle is capable of plotting against his own family, will he scheme to get Diane fired – at least from that particular job?

Kyle might be fine with Diane getting demoted to her previous position, but he certainly doesn’t want her in the current co-CEO spot.

If Kyle sets some sort of trap to make Diane look bad, he could be risking Jack’s wrath.

It’s easy to imagine Kyle making sure it appears Diane’s made some big blunders – ones that he can swoop in and fix like a hero.

Kyle may resort to full-blown sabotage as he works to steal Diane’s job, but that could backfire if Jack figures out what’s going on.

Furthermore, it could do some serious damage to Diane and Kyle’s mother-son relationship.

Will Kyle’s potential sabotage plot prove costly in more ways than one? Could Kyle get fired instead and lose his parents’ respect?
