The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 2, reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will stand by her decision to fire both Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), but she’ll have to deal with the fallout at Chancellor-Winters.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) isn’t going to be happy about Lily’s choice – and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) won’t be thrilled that she went through with it either.

As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll collide with Billy unexpectedly somewhere in town.

This encounter could give Billy a chance to offer updates on Daniel getting the boot from Omega Sphere.

Billy may fill Phyllis in on Heather getting fired from her attorney role as well, so Phyllis will probably fume over how unfair all this – at least in her opinion.

It may not be long until Phyllis confronts Lily or at least seeks Daniel out for more details on how it all went down.

In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Heather and Daniel will be down in the dumps now that they’re both out of jobs.

Daniel will feel like they should just accept the situation and focus on the future, but could Heather push him to fight back and try to regain control of Omega Sphere?

At the Newman ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will surprise Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) by taking her to the tack house, where Cole and Victoria lived once upon a time.

Claire will learn more about the beginning of Cole and Victoria’s love story, so she’ll appreciate seeing their old home and discovering new details.

There’s been a lot of talk lately about Claire’s desire to gain independence and rise above Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) attempt to stifle her.

Could Claire be given the opportunity to live at the tack house now that it’s vacant again?

Whatever the case, Claire shouldn’t let her guard down when it comes to Jordan, who’ll be lurking around Genoa City dressed as a man.

Jordan isn’t done inflicting misery on the Newmans – and Claire is most certainly one of them now!
