The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 19, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will open up to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) trauma and how he’s questioning whether he should’ve even been born.

Sharon will help Adam see that he has to overcome his instincts to disbelieve the specialists’ advice just because he doesn’t like what they’re telling him.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will wake up startled after a nightmare where she’s calling out to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and unable to find him.

At the Newman ranch, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will want to add to the money they’re offering Jordan (Colleen Zenk) so he can feel like he’s doing something to help with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) deal.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will admit they weren’t able to trace Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) phone, but he’ll provide confirmation on Jordan’s new identity and all the other arrangements of the deal still being in place.

When Michael notes that there’s a difference since they don’t have a trap this time, Victor will insist they’ll set one.

The two goals here will be to bring Harrison home and make sure Jordan can’t endanger anyone in the Newman family or Abbott clan again.

As for Kyle, he’ll meet up with Summer and offer updates on Jordan’s demands.

Summer will start ranting about Claire again, but Kyle will try to keep the focus on doing whatever they can to get Harrison back.

Summer will fret over Victor and Jack potentially doing something that could panic Jordan since she knows her grandfather’s track record.

Since Summer won’t care about anything except Harrison’s safety, she’ll want Claire’s number so that she can offer herself as a hostage in his place.

Kyle will reject that plan since he already offered himself via text and got shut down.

Summer will fear that they might already be too late to save Harrison, but Kyle won’t want her thinking like that and will keep offering reassurance.

After Summer summons Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) on Friday’s Y&R episode, she’ll share the awful news about Harrison’s kidnapping and get Chance’s comfort.

Summer will want to head to the ranch, so she’ll convince Chance to come with her and offer input on what’s happening based on his cop background.

Meanwhile, Kyle will rejoin Michael, Victor and Jack as they talk about the next steps.

Victor will think they have to find a way to lure Jordan away from her captives, but Kyle will fear she’ll view it as a setup.

Jack won’t be ready to back down on the idea that Claire might be working with Jordan, but Victor will think there may be other accomplices involved and will plan to get them to talk since everyone has a price.

Outside the tack house, Nikki will drink from her flask before heading inside to support Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

After Nikki and Victoria agree that Claire could be in just as much danger as Harrison, Nikki will fret over all this being her fault.

Since Nikki will feel like this is her mess to clean up, she’ll want to be the one to fix it.

Victor wouldn’t let Nikki use herself as bait before, but she’ll make it clear that she’s not asking permission this time and indeed intends to become bait for Jordan.
