The Young and The Restless: Is Sean Dominic Leaving To Join The Gates?
Actor Sean Dominic as Nate is perhaps one of the most talented, yet utterly underutilized asset of The Young and The Restless. The handsome star recently marked an enviable milestone on the CBS soap, by clocking in a five year run on it.
But will this stint continue? Or has Sean reached the end of the road as Nate? Because he is clearly missing from all the hot and happening on The Young and The Restless. Despite the current low visibility, his popularity has seen no dent with the fans!
Sean recently took to his social media to share his happiness and express his gratitude over marking the 5 year milestone on Y&R. “5 years today since walking onto this iconic set. @YandR_CBS Thank you to all you loyal fans around the globe. Without you there’s no Y&R,” he wrote on his official X account.
The post was soon flooded with fan comments. But there were a few that caught our eye in particular. One of The Young and The Restless fan asked Sean where Nate was. The star responded that he “should be coming in with a storyline soon!” Thus, letting on that he is very much part of the show.
However, things like these tend to change at the drop of a hat. We know that a new soap is ebbing on the horizon, and that too on CBS. So we weren’t surprised at all when a fan pointed that Sean should join the cast of the new soap – “The Gates”.
For the unversed, CBS has cleared The Gates and it will premiere in January 2025. The soap is weaved around a wealthy black family that lives in a posh gated community. It is a joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP and produced by P&G.
The Gates is not only the first black soap to come out in 15 years, but it also marks the return of P&G to Daytime. So, needless to say, it is a big deal. Considering that the soap will lead a bunch of talented leading men, we can see Sean Dominic fitting right it. Interestingly, he even responded to the fan’s comment with a intrigued GIF.
