Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has become a mess since Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) kidnapping.

While others have been on the fence about whether or not Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is behind things, Summer has been adamant in her belief that her newfound cousin is no good. Could she make a major mistake if rescue efforts get chaotic?

Y&R spoilers note that things are about to get crazy in GC. While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are working with their security teams and the police to locate Jordan (Colleen Zenk), it’s not hard to believe that Summer could somehow get wrapped up in rescue efforts.

She may insist on going along for the ride if information comes through to Victor, Jack, or Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), or she may see info pop up on someone’s phone, grab a gun, and take matters into her own hands; especially if she feels as if Claire will get a pass on her latest “stunt”.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Shoots First, Ask Questions Later

As is the case on most soap rescue missions, things could turn ugly. Jordan may take Harrison and Claire from the motel to another location to do the swap before she skips town with whatever deal she has concocted with the Moustache and Jack.

Then again, maybe Jordan has already taken off, leaving Claire with Harrison, locked up somewhere.

When Summer finds the two, she may be under the impression that Claire has intentions to hurt the little boy or has been holding him under Jordan’s orders.

Summer is terrified of Claire. If she believes Harrison’s life is in danger, she’ll shoot first and ask questions later. She’ll feel terrible when the truth comes out.

Claire may even be in critical condition because of Summer, which will have both Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) reeling that they could lose their daughter, for a second time.
