The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, May 13 Recap: Finn Chooses Steffy Over Sheila, Agrees to Shut Birth Mom Out

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, May 13, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wondered if John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) expected her to be thankful and excited that “monster” Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was still alive, but he thought there might be some part of her that was indeed relieved.

Finn acted like a huge weight had been lifted since Steffy didn’t eliminate his birth mother after all, but Steffy argued that the danger was back.

However, Finn argued that when Sheila found out what “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown) was planning, she tried to stop her from harming Steffy and the kids.

Finn thought Sheila was a hero, but Steffy never wanted to hear him say that again!

Steffy ranted about Sheila tormenting her family for generations, but Finn felt like Sheila had changed and didn’t want to turn his back on her.

Nevertheless, Steffy argued that Finn indeed had to turn his back on Sheila since she wasn’t going to be in their lives or anywhere near the children.

“You can’t have both. It’s either her or me,” Steffy said on Monday’s B&B episode.

Finn looked upset, but he insisted it was Steffy and always would be. Steffy and Finn embraced, but they both seemed pensive over each other’s shoulders.

Once Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) took Sheila home from the hospital, she gloated about scaring Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and looked forward to the other reactions over her survival news – especially the reactions she’d get from the Forresters.

Deacon encouraged Sheila to focus on their future and wanted to get back to their quiet life together, so they wound up making out on the sofa.

At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) told Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that maybe they should keep an open mind about Sheila’s transformation.

Once Hope pointed out that people said Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) couldn’t change either, Ridge was offended over the comparison.

Hope just felt they should perhaps entertain the idea that Sheila was a different woman now.

Although Hope hadn’t forgotten about Sheila’s horrible mistakes, she also thought it was possible that Sheila regretted the things she’d done.

Hope mentioned that Sheila had fought back against Sugar to protect Steffy, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks), but Liam argued that they only had Sheila’s word on that.

Ridge made it clear they’d never accept Sheila, but Hope insisted she’d been spending a lot of time with Finn and was starting to see his perspective.

If Sheila had changed, then Hope understood why Finn would want to pursue a relationship with her.

Hope added that’s exactly what Finn wanted and that he was determined to have Sheila in his life.

Ridge offered a prediction that Steffy wouldn’t allow that – and Liam agreed that she’d draw a line in the sand with Finn on this.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn and Steffy have more marriage issues in their future, so stay tuned for updates on how this Sheila situation will take a toll.
