Days of Our Lives Recap: Friday, March 29 – Eric Busts Holly Sneaking Booze – Sloan & Melinda Attack Leo

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 29, reveals that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) nearly came clean at the christening, but he hesitated when EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) threatened to get the authorities involved over the interruption.

Leo also saw Sloan Petersen-Brady (temporarily played by Natasha Hall) holding Jude Brady and seemed affected by a nearby statue of the Virgin Mary, so he quickly shifted gears.

After Leo “confessed” that he was covering the christening for The Spectator’s society page, he acted like he needed permission for photographs.

Leo also made a speech about being honored to be Jude’s “fairy godfather,” so most of the crowd was both weirded out and touched over the speech.

Once the christening was over, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) cornered Leo alone to ask “what the hell” that dramatic interlude was.

Leo scolded her for speaking that way in the house of the Lord and acted like it was no big deal since he didn’t actually go through with confessing.

Later, Melinda and Sloan ganged up on Leo outside, so he assured them that there’s be no further moments of temptation.

Leo explained his reasons for backing out of the confession – including the fact that pouty Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) turned out to be such a mess with Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) for a mother.

John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had to step away from the others at one point since he was feeling so guilty being in church.

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) followed John outside and once again tried to give him a pep talk.

John eventually lit a candle and prayed to find some way through what he was dealing with, so Marlena joined him once again and showed her support.

However, John remained uncomfortable and standoffish after he joined the other guests at the reception, which was held at the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode.

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) picked up on the fact that something was wrong with John and quizzed Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), who insisted it wasn’t his story to tell.

Back at St. Luke’s, Holly and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) were the last ones in the church since he could tell she needed to talk.

After Holly swore Eric to secrecy, she cried and came clean about the drugs being hers on New Year’s Eve – not Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann).

Eric wasn’t judging Holly, but he did insist she needed to tell Nicole and EJ the truth.

Holly worried her mom wasn’t strong enough to hear it, but Eric thought Nicole was tougher than Holly thought. Eric gave Holly a hug and pushed her to think about what he said.

Once Holly made it to the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, she started sneaking multiple Champagne glasses from the table in the living room.

Since Holly kept guzzling booze to soothe her nerves, she had a close call with Eric and Sloan where she had to hide a glass behind her back.

Jude also got fussy during the reception on Friday’s DOOL show, so Nicole took him in her arms and calmed him right down.

At the halfway house, Tate continued reading aloud from his journal and then sat down with Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) once she arrived.

After Tate got updates on Theresa’s breakup from Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he worried it was because she’d had to spend so much time on him and all his drama.

Theresa assured Tate that her split from Alex wasn’t his fault and hinted that they might get back together.

Tate hoped so since he didn’t want Theresa to be alone, so she thought that was sweet.

Back with Holly, she got on the phone and tried to pose as Theresa again, but she got busted since Theresa was already at the halfway house.

Theresa angrily took the phone call herself, so Holly hung up in a hurry.

After Theresa confronted Tate about the call, he admitted Holly had done that once before.

Theresa insisted Tate should’ve disconnected right away and reminded him of the restraining order.

When Holly went to sneak another Champagne glass, Eric locked eyes with her and gave her a disapproving look as he caught on.

Nearby, John had a tense moment with EJ and got more support from Steve, who later headed to the pub for a scotch since he was so worried about his friend.

As the party broke up, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) said he was about to go visit Tate.

EJ ranted at Brady for mentioning that in front of Holly, who ultimately stopped Brady from leaving since she had something to say.

Once Holly told Nicole that she was so sorry, she explained that she overdosed on her own drugs back on New Year’s Eve.

Nicole and EJ were taken aback by Holly’s admission while Brady glared at her.

Eric was also on hand to hear the confession, which he obviously knew was coming since he pushed Holly to make it.

As for Leo, he drove Sloan and Jude home on Friday’s Days episode.

Melinda came with them, so she helped Sloan remind Leo that he needed to keep quiet to keep his cash flow going and avoid prison.

Leo assured Sloan and Melinda that they were the unholy trinity now, so no one else would ever know that Nicole brought Jude into this world.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Melinda, Sloan and Leo’s pact will inevitably end in disastrous news, so stick with us for more predictions on all the chaos.
