General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, March 6 – Jason Caught On Camera – Dante Rushed to OR – Sonny’s Guilt Trip

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 6, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) called a meeting with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to let them know she was aware of their matchmaking, which actually worked.

However, Maxie explained that she found out about Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) fake pipe deception and how he disrespected boundaries by assuming she needed to be rescued financially.

Sasha and Cody knew Spinelli’s heart was in the right place, so they urged Maxie to see where things went since life was short.

Maxie pushed Cody and Sasha to follow their own advice before firing them as matchmakers.

Once Sasha and Cody were alone, they acknowledged that they’d been making excuses to spend time together and didn’t feel the need to do that anymore.

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up to see Spinelli and gave him updates on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wanting to get the surveillance footage to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) before the cops knew he had it.

Spinelli searched the footage for something useful and finally got something from the silent drone camera that had been circling.

Both Spinelli and Ava were shocked over what they saw on the screen.

Ava left in a hurry as Maxie arrived hoping to talk things out with Spinelli, who looked like he’d seen a ghost.

Spinelli was flustered as he admitted he’d indeed seen one, but he kept rambling about how it didn’t make any sense as Maxie pushed him for answers.

At GH, Sonny found out Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were the ones to find and keep Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) alive after he’d been shot.

Although Dante was wearing a bulletproof vest, he’d apparently been shot with armor-piercing rounds and was in bad shape from his wounds.

Josslyn, Dex, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) all came to the hospital as well, so Olivia wound up blaming Sonny for the danger Dante landed in.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) led the medical team in charge of Dante’s care and seemed uncertain of whether he was strong enough for surgery, but he was eventually prepped and wheeled up to the OR.

In the chapel, Sonny prayed for Dante’s survival before Olivia appeared with an apology.

Dante understood the risks of his job, so Olivia was sorry for lashing out at Sonny – though he acknowledged that she was right before.

Olivia crossed paths with Ava on her way out of the chapel before Ava approached Sonny with the footage.

Some things had to be seen to be believed, so Ava showed Sonny that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had been one of the gunmen on the rooftop.

Once Sam heard the details of what happened, she assured Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that she didn’t blame him for doing his job just like Dante.

Chase was upset over not being there when Dante was injured, but Dante had instructed him to secure the rooftop area and wait for backup.

While Sam and Olivia gave each other support, Portia seemed emotionally affected by everything that had happened and called Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) just to hear his voice.

Anna also had Dex and Josslyn recap their version of events multiple times.

Since Dante was both a valued employee and a friend, Anna offered her gratitude over Joss and Dex’s life-saving efforts.

Anna realized that the phone left at the scene was probably a burner and that they may not get usable prints since Josslyn touched it.

Nevertheless, Anna was hopeful about getting more info from the 911 vocal recording since she wanted to know who made that call.

At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) spoke to a reporter over the phone and was headed out the door when Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) arrived with Adrian DeWitt (Dieterich Gray), the “social observer” aka gossip columnist she hoped to hire.

Although Alexis didn’t have time to deal with this, Nina pushed her to make time and urged her to hear Adrian out.

Alexis didn’t entirely hate the idea of hiring Adrian, but she wasn’t sold on Nina’s involvement at The Invader and questioned her motivation.

Nina pushed Alexis to trust her before a call came in with confirmation on Dante getting shot, so Alexis shocked Nina with the news.

General Hospital spoilers say Dante will make it through the surgery soon, so stay tuned.
