Sister Wives’ Brown family is ‘extremely broken’ over son Garrison’s tragic death while mom Janelle feels ‘angry & numb’
SISTER Wives’ Brown family has been left shattered by Garrison’s death, and his mom, Janelle, was numb to the news.
Garrison was 25 years old when he was found in his Flagstaff, Arizona home on March 5, 2024.
His younger brother Gabe, 22, found him with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A source close to Janelle, 54, and the Brown family exclusively spoke to The U.S. Sun about the star’s state of mind.
“I’ve never heard her so angry and numb. She’s not processed [it] clearly,” the source said of Janelle.
“She’s definitely not processed this at all. She doesn’t even know which end’s up.”
“She’s very angry right now… She’s not a crier or an emotional person,” the insider shared.
“Takes a lot to get her to break. So I think right now she’s going to go, like, ‘What the heck happened? What did I do wrong?'”
“This family is extremely broken and tortured, and it’s very painful for many of them,” they continued.
Finally, the source claimed that Kody’s fourth wife Robyn is “the one who’s actually really upset about it.”
They added that Robyn is “really devastated.”
Janelle and Kody, 55, broke their silence following the sudden death of their son.
Janelle took to Instagram on Tuesday, shortly after the shocking news broke, to tell fans of their loss.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle wrote with two photos of Garrison.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”
“We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” she concluded her short post.
Janelle chose two photos of Garrison, one of him in military uniform, and one of him smiling on a trip while wearing a backpack.
Kody shared the same photos and message on his Instagram account.
POLICE CONFIRMATION
The Flagstaff Police Department confirmed to The U.S. Sun that Garrison died at his home in Arizona.
“It is with great sadness I confirm Mr. Robert Garrison Brown was located in his residence deceased, as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” their statement read.
“On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home.”
“Upon arrival, officers met with a sibling, identified as ‘Gabe,’ and discovered Mr. Brown deceased as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” they continued.
The spokesperson added that there was no indication of foul play and the “Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating.”
Janelle and Kody have six kids together; they are Madison, 28, Logan, Hunter, 27 Savanah, 19, Gabriel, and the late Garrison.
