The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there’s one thing that could tun Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) story with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) upside down. Y&R fans recall that Audra once planned to take over Glissade for herself, but she later dropped that plan in favor of real love – or did she?

It’s possible Audra is playing the long game here and that she’s far smarter than anyone thinks.

Audra has always been a conniving character, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising to find out she’s running a scam.

Since Audra always boasts about knowing Tucker like no one else, what if she’s orchestrated all this knowing it’s the path to a Glissade takeover?

Perhaps Audra has been making some very calculated moves.

There was a time when Tucker didn’t trust Audra either, but what if she’s played him like a fiddle using this Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) situation and bogus relationship insecurities?

If that’s the case, Audra has taken all the suspicion off herself and kept Tucker’s mind on proving his love for her.

Maybe Audra has been playing up her jealousy and doubts to make Tucker work harder to prove their connection is real.

Tucker recently popped the question, but Audra rejected the proposal and acted like marriage wasn’t something she was interested in.

What if this engagement delay is about lulling Tucker into a false sense of security?

At this point, any fears about Audra duping him and making power plays are long gone for Tucker.

Now Tucker is desperate to put that ring on Audra’s finger, so she could be fueling his desire to marry by playing hard to get.

Now that Tucker is putty in Audra’s hands, it would be so easy for her to suddenly surrender to this marriage proposal and suggest eloping.

Of course, Tucker might forget about signing a prenup, so all of this could bring Audra one step closer to her original goal of Glissade domination.

Audra could be slowly positioning herself for the takeover she originally set out to accomplish.

It’s true that Audra has confided in Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about all the Ashley issues and her decision not to marry Tucker, but that doesn’t mean she’s been telling the truth about her deeper plans.

This Tucker and Audra storyine would be so much better if it came with a major twist – like the revelation that Audra has been playing Tucker the entire time.
