The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott) has definitely been getting some dramatic material lately. Thanks to all the chaos surrounding Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) kidnapping, Kyle has been a huge part of the action.

However, there’s a different storyline that Mealor is eventually hoping to see for Kyle, Harrison and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

In an interview with SOD, Michael Mealor talked about the potential return of Tara Locke (last played by Elizabeth Leiner) and all the messiness that could bring.

“Oh, yes. That is something I have dreamed about,” Mealor said. “I love the idea of Tara coming back and fighting Summer and Kyle, and it just kind of turning all of that on its head.”

Mealor also talked about the impact that Tara Locke’s prison release would have on Harrison.

It would certainly leave Harrison in a state of confusion if his biological mother showed up trying to get him back.

Harrison considers Summer his mom now, so it’d be interesting to watch his reaction along with all the adults involved here.

Of course, Summer would be an emotional wreck at the thought of losing Harrison to Tara, so the news of her possible freedom wouldn’t go over well.

It could bring some fears for Kyle too, especially if Tara’s lawyer used all this Jordan (Colleen Zenk) chaos as proof that Harrison was in danger around the Newmans and Abbotts.

No matter how it might go down, Mealor hinted that he’d jump at the chance for some custody drama if Tara got out of prison.

Although it doesn’t look like Y&R plans to bring Tara Locke back on the show just yet, Mealor is holding out hope that she might return for an amazing storyline someday.

“And I’m always here to bring back a character or bring on a new character,” Mealor insisted. “I always love that.”

Maybe Michael Mealor will get his wish somewhere down the line, but Kyle will work on restoring peace and stability to traumatized Harrison’s life in the meantime.
