The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 12, reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have some concerns about leaving Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and attending the Newman party with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).

However, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will expect Ashley to sleep through the night since she took a sleeping pill, so she’ll send Diane and Jack on their way.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be glad he doesn’t have to attend and will open up to Traci a bit more about his DID experience.

Traci and Billy will be in agreement about supporting Ashley to the other side of her issues.

At the Newman ranch, Nikki will hide her vodka bottle in her clutch before sharing some sweet moments with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ahead of their anniversary bash.

Victor will give Nikki a ruby ring to celebrate, so she’ll be delighted.

In the jazz lounge, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will remind someone on the staff that it’s a dry party, so only cider and mocktails should be served.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will try to be cordial to Victoria, but she’ll excuse herself in a hurry.

Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) won’t be eager to chat with Sally and Adam either.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will insist he’s glad Sally and Adam are there before asking about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), so Adam will vent about having to stay away from his son.

Near the GCAC lobby entrance, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will cross paths with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), who’ll compliment Summer’s look and get a cold response.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will bring Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) since he wanted to attend the party, so Harrison will run straight to Claire and will eventually show her his bunny good luck charm.

Claire will call it a “lucky bun” and reflect on having a good luck charm of her own when she was younger.

Harrison will insist he’s never going to lose his and will take Claire’s hand as they head to the jazz lounge.

Outside the door, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will be wearing her manly disguise as she spies and will seem intrigued by Claire’s “precious” bond with Harrison.

Once everyone’s at the bash, Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will explain to Harrison that they’re a family with Claire just like he’s a family with his parents.

Summer will glare at Claire bonding with Harrison across the room, so Claire will give him a nudge to go see his mom.

It’ll leave Claire looking disappointed over Summer’s continued disdain for her, so Victoria will notice.

Although Victoria will wonder if she should say something to Summer, Cole will gently discourage the idea.

There’ll also be some talk about Cole and Victoria’s kiss, so they’ll be on the same page about it being both a surprise and not a surprise.

After Victor and Nikki make their grand entrance, they’ll receive special toasts from Victoria, Nick, Adam, Summer, Abby, Devon, Jack, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).

Nikki and Victor will also exchange a few special words as they decide no one can ruin their celebration of 40 years together – though Diane will call that a bit of a fudge when she talks to Kyle.

As Diane tries to play nice with her son, Kyle will seem to think she’s overdoing it.

Diane will acknowledge that she’s irritated with the situation at Jabot and not Kyle himself, but he’ll act like it’ll all work out.

Harrison will give Victor and Nikki a drawing for their anniversary before telling Kyle that he’s sleepy, so Kyle will prepare to take him home.

After Claire meets Abby and once again fails to win Summer over, she’ll notice that Harrison left his lucky charm behind and will leave the party hoping to catch up with him.

Meanwhile, Kyle will lead Harrison outside as Jordan watches them exit the front door together.

Lauren will take a moment to congratulate Nikki back inside and will think Nikki’s doing so well.

After Lauren suggests Nikki may not even need her at Newman Media anymore, Nikki will tighten her grip on her clutch containing the vodka.

Victor will stay in touch with the head of security and get updates on the guards posted at every entrance.

There’ll be no sign of Jordan, but Victor will wish there had indeed been a Jordan sighting so they could’ve caught her.

Nick will remind Victor to be careful what he wishes for!

At one point, Nick will look a little jealous as he watches Sally dancing with Adam. Summer will take a spin on the dancefloor with Chance as well and will thank him for being her date.

Victor will share a dance of his own with Nikki before a flashback plays from their first wedding, so Friday’s Y&R episode will end on a lovely note.
